The John Galliano Fall/Winter 2016 show was certainly an eye catcher. Milan had prepared us for the introduction of Gothic traits this season but creative director, Bill Gaytten took this look one step further with the introduction of Β severe military pieces combined with the utmost of femininity as seen above with silky pink dress combined withΒ thick military style jacket.
Pretty in pink, extremely feminine lines here, soft lingerie type fabric teamed with boots taking the boring right out of pretty.
We know who’s wearing the pants this season – it’s us women and we’re teaming it up with gothic style shirts just so you know who’s the boss!
Any detail on a shirt is going to work this coming fall – love how Gaytten has gone to such effort in the detail behind every shirt.Β 
Note the see-through fabric used for skirts and dresses – a theme that is hot hot hot both this Spring and later in Fall.
…and here comes the grand finale with this adorable opulent black off the shoulder dress, notably combined with the style breaker boots!
…of course a show wouldn’t be complete without a few front row celebs…
Brilliant show – have read rumours John Galliano’s new store about to open atΒ 30 Rue des Archives in the Marais. Designed by architects Franklin Azzi and Atelier Franck Durand – sounds exciting and definitely worth a visit if you are in Paris!
