One of the most exciting things that happened this Milano Fashion Week was meeting up with the wonderful designer Mariana Mill from Millé Milano. Her story is simply so inspiring. Like me she also has a corporate background. Working for many years as a huge international product developer. One day she decided to give it all up and follow an idea which stemmed out of her own dream. A dream for luxurious clothing that would be affordable to more women.

Milano’s Hottest Fashion Secret – Millé Milano
I visited the showroom with my dear friend Izabella from bella_zofia.com the AW21 collection was so beautiful it was love at first sight for both of us.
Talking to Mariana herself too was incredibly inspiring. We learned she places such high emphasis on fair trade that all pieces are made in Milano itself. The fringes on our jackets are combed by hand three times with a special comb before they reach a customer.
Fabrics come from carefully selected textile houses which also supply to other prestigious labels such as Chanel.

The great news is that whilst these beautiful pieces are not cheap they still come at a price much more affordable than traditional famous high end brands yet the quality is just as high.
