After receiving so many kind and thoughtful messages about my accessory game I decided to share with you some tips and tricks. Truth is, everyday life is not a street style glam photo but of course everyone wants to look their best. That´s why during the week I spice up my accessory game with tasteful delicate pieces. Lots of them. The secret is to layer the right pieces properly and I guarantee you you´ll have the most stylish results without looking like a walking Christmas tree 😉

Having lots of jewelry, I came to the conclusion that what was missing in my collection were delicate pieces to give a sophisticated yet casual look. The thing is, I had delicate necklaces and bracelets but after a while they lose color and shine and gain that ugly used look – that´s when I don´t have the courage to neither throw them away nor use them.

So when I became an Audaviv Ambassador my first pieces were – of course – delicate bracelets to build the perfect arm candy. Plus, you won´t have to scroll and apply lots of filters to hide tacky jewelry (which is new to me, because I find myself constantly doing that).

I never wear only one necklace. More is more. When the choker obsession (oh God, what a terrible name for a necklace!) became a serious thing, I started layering chokers with small delicate necklaces, mostly with little charms. During summer it´s also cool to layer with body chains.

This is my everyday motto. I grab several small necklaces and layer them by adjusting each with different lenght. That way you´ll have a slighty longer necklace and all the others will have smaller lenghts. The necklaces below are the ones on my Audaviv wishlist. The second one is currently out of stock so I guess I´ll have to wait until it´s back so that I can finally releash my inner Sailor Moon 😉

Arm Candy – the act of putting together random (or not…) pretty bracelets and accessories. Lots of them. Since I have a watch addiction (always remeber this place is a non-judgemental zone) I like to begin my arm candy with a good watch. Then I´ll add the bracelets that I believe that look good with the watch (e.g. rose gold watch, rose gold bracelets). So as you can see my arm candy is usually planned and almost never random.

I almost never use rings and bracelets on the same hand because most of times the final combination seems tacky to me (but hey, that´s just me!). Usually I think it´s better balanced having the rings on one hand and the bracelets and watch on the other. I also combine the rings and the bracelets (e.g. golden bracelets with golden rings).

This is probably the only bright rose bracelet I own. Or piece of jewelry. Everything else has a dusty rose shade. The reason why I love it so much is because it´s only one bracelet but looks like two (which means more layers therefore more hapiness to me). Because I´m a monochrome addict this bracelet is often the only pop of color. And trust me, it makes all the difference!

I wear my bracelets backwards all the time (and not because they slide – good thing about these beauties it´s they´re adjustable. It´s probably the first time I own jewerly that doesn´t fall off my tiny wrists). Just take a closer look. Wouldn´t it be a shame not to wear them both ways? You´ll also get 10 points for creativity.

Of course being an accessory lover I always pay attention to the details. Style is always in the details. In this case, the golden chain on my bag matches my little bracelets.
