Milan Fashion Week – Street Style

Though I’m not done with the designers (I’m still getting used to the new college schedule so I’ve Been a bit distant) I needed to share with you the amazing street style. These people remind me of small walking masterpieces! So far, I think NYFW had the very best of street style. But oh well, ‘we’ll always have Paris’! 🙂

The faux fur coat

At first, it reminded me of my grandmother looks. The long fur coat. And I immediately knew I had to have one! I already had several faux fur vests, and I didn’t want anything related to real fur (it makes me sick, just the idea of having a real fur coat), so it was a very difficult choice. I realized I couldn’t pick only one fur jacket – the small ones would be great paired with jeans, but the long ones would make a great skirt outfit – so I told my mum to choose one. She picked a small one, beige with leather beige details. But that was last winter… A few weeks ago, when I decided I was emotionally prepared to take a look at Zara fall/winter ’14 collection, my previous thoughts returned.
Whenever I think of a faux fur coat, I think about something to keep for many many years in my closet, so I believe it is a good investment. Also, I’m a person who dislikes wearing too many clothes at the same time, especially when winter comes, so I always chose a really warm coat to use only with a shirt or a blouse underneath.

The New Bohemia

The first august Net-a-Porter issue is all about this new Bohemia – that’s what the second wave of boho it’s called. The difference? Boho is all grown up, ‘cooler, edgier and sexier’. Net-a-porter

Sneakers love

I must admit, This is one of my favorite trends! Not only they look comfortable, but they actually are (who didn’t buy, at least once, a pair of heels that looked so comfortable and, of course, were not). Another thing I love about sneakers is how they make any outfit look irreverent.
